Entech Staffing Solutions is seeking a part time Accounting Generalist in Livonia, MI! This position is paying up to $25/hour and begins right away.
Duties:
- Responsible for multiple aspects of accounting (accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, general ledger entries, bank reconciliation, credit card processing, cash applications, and collections)
- Interfaces with our bank, including performing international wire transfers and ACH payments
- Process new customer credit applications and assign credit limits and terms
- Interact with HR department to maintain accurate personnel files in payroll, Fidelity 401K, Basic, and HSA provider
- Prepare monthly Michigan sales and use tax reports and pay tax to state
- Prepare Ohio CAT Tax quarterly reporting and make payments when appropriate
- Prepare month end bank reconciliation for Controller to complete financial statements
- Assist with various Excel general ledger account analyses
- Maintain files and comply with record retention requirements
Requirements:
- Strong organizational and keyboarding skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and report generating software
- Working knowledge of ERP Accounting and Payroll software systems (Infor & Paycor a plus)
- Possess well developed interpersonal and communication, verbal, and written skills
- Work accurately with close attention to detail
- Strong analytical and reasoning abilities with good numeric skills
- Highly motivated with the ability to function independently and multi-task
- Results oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple duties and tasks
