Entech Staffing Solutions is seeking a Family Accountant for a position in Birmingham, MI! This position is paying $28-30/hour and begins right away.
Duties:
- Check online banking transactions and balances
- Update cash flow report daily
- Provide funding information for Intercompany transfers to accountant
- Prepare monthly cash flow report and review with owner
- Maintain Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Review G/L activity to ensure accuracy of data
- Complete monthly reconciliations
- Provide financial reports to lenders and others (i.e. banks, Midland, US Bank)
- Compile year files and documents for CPA firm(s) for yearend
- Close out fiscal year-end in QuickBooks software
- File use tax returns and personal property tax reports
- Process 1099 tax forms and file
- File unclaimed property reports as required by State of Michigan
- Complete annual CAM calculations as required for applicable lease agreements
- Maintain estate planning documents
- Manage 2nd home payables
- Manage receivables and payables for the company plane
- Manage Philanthropic items
Requirements:
- 5+ years in accounting with emphasis on multiple entities and degree preferred
- QuickBooks, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word
- Excellent organizational skills a must, critical thinking skills, general math skills and ability to work independently
