Entech Staffing Solutions is seeking a Housing Case Manager for a position in Pontiac, MI! This is a great opportunity to work with a nonprofit focused on aiding those experience poverty on the local level. This position pays $17-20/hour based on experience. We are seeking Case Managers and Lead Case Managers, who will supervise a team of Social Workers.
Duties:
· Work with clients, landlords, and community partners in gathering necessary documents
· Screen candidates in housing crisis, facing eviction, or behind on rent and utilities
· Assist participants in application process
· Process financial assistant requests for eligible individuals
· Carry a caseload of around 100 households and refer clients to Follow-up care as needed
Qualifications:
· Lived or professional experience working with low-income individuals
· Bachelor’s degree, degree in Social Work preferred
· 2+ years social service experience
· Unwavering personal integrity
· Strong conflict resolution skills and willingness to have difficult conversations
