Entech Staffing Solutions is seeking a Network Engineer in Pontiac, MI! This position is paying $90,000-125,000 and begins right away. Duties:
• Ensuring the stable operation of the corporate enterprise network including planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting and optimizing all network hardware, software and communication links
• Conducting research and making recommendations on network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and development efforts
• Providing capacity, performance, uptime and security reporting using NetFlow and other standard tools
• Providing guidance and supporting to more junior team members
Requirements:
• 5-7 years of experience in Network Engineering including supporting data center environments
• Hands-on experience installing and configuring network hardware including switches, routers, firewalls, VPN appliances and telecommunication devices
• Experience managing and designing network infrastructures and configuring enterprise LAN, WAN and VPN technologies
• Knowledge of Cisco proprietary and open industry standard network protocols
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or computer science, or equivalent
• CCNP, CCDP or CCIE or equivalent experience preferred
• Experience configuring and supporting QOS in a production environment preferred
• Experience with Wireless LAN Controllers, Cisco DNAC, Ekahau, Solarwinds Orion and NetFlow analysis preferred
• Exposure to Active Directory; DNS; DHCP; Linux; Windows 7/2003/2008; WINS; VMware ESX/ESXi
