Entech Staffing Solutions is seeking an On-Site Engineer for a position in Novi, MI! This position is paying $55-75k annually and begins right away.
Duties:
• Access the engineering and development teams of both existing clients in the region as well as targeted new clients
• Establish and consolidate a technical relationship with client teams via an agile and reliable response and presence
• Identify areas of improvement in technical relationship with clients in order to better position the company as a supplier
• Master the tools needed for information exchange with clients
• Assist in promoting the vision of technical development, needs and objectives in the region
• Control and manage the customer relationship with key technical interlocutors, purchasing and engineering
• Support for commercial, engineering and development teams on client projects
• Serve as the antenna and spokesperson for clients’ engineering teams, detecting, and generating opportunities for technical innovation
• Coordinate with work teams focused on market investigation in order to monitor trends, competitors, new products, and technologies in the region
• Transmit technical knowledge and business opportunities through standardized internal reports and information exchange
• Identify technical collaboration opportunities with third parties
Requirements:
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design or equivalent desired but not essential
• Experience in engineering department in the automotive sector, research engineering in a technical research center or design engineering experience in an industrial design department
• English speaker. Spanish a plus.
• Experience with 3D CAD modeling, FEA analysis and CAD data
• Ability to interpret and use multiple design and information exchange tools
• Strong relationship management and negotiating skills
• Experience in incident/conflict resolution
• Reporting and planning capabilities
