Human Resources Administrative Assistant (Temporary, Part-Time)
Location: Holly, MI
Pay: $17–$20/hr
Hours: 24–30 hours per week – flexible scheduling available
Duration: Temporary through end of year (potential to extend)
Entech Staffing is looking for a Human Resources Administrative Assistant to join an HR team at an electronics company in Holly, MI. This is a part-time, temporary position with the potential to transition into a long-term opportunity.
This role is perfect for someone with prior HR or administrative experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to build hands-on experience in Human Resources. You’ll play a key part in supporting our team during Open Enrollment and other HR initiatives — helping with employee communication, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring things run efficiently behind the scenes.
What You’ll Do:

Use Workday and/or Dayforce to enter employee information, run reports, print pay stubs, and process updates to tax or benefit details.

Assist with Open Enrollment preparation (Nov 10–21): printing and distributing materials, organizing mailings, running benefit tables, and helping employees with basic questions.

Maintain and organize employee files — scanning, uploading, and filing documentation with accuracy and confidentiality.

Support the HR team with administrative tasks such as data entry, correspondence, and project coordination.

Help with special projects and other HR-related duties as assigned based on skills and department needs.
What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in Human Resources or an administrative support role (education in HR is a plus!).

Comfortable using HRIS platforms (Workday or Dayforce experience preferred but not required).

Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel (v-lookups a plus), Word, and PowerPoint.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.

A self-starter who can work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities.
