Job Position: Machine Assembly Technician

Location: Rochester Hills, MI 48309

Pay Rate: $26.00-$30.00/hr based on experience

Job Type: Full-Time, Potential Direct Hire, Business Hours

Entech Staffing Solutions is seeking a Machine Assembly Technician for a growing manufacturing company specializing in advanced botanical extraction equipment in Rochester Hills, MI. This role is responsible for mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, and supporting machine testing and installation. We are looking for candidates who are available to start work ASAP.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components, subassemblies, and full machines per drawings and BOMs

• Install bearings, gearboxes, motors, conveyors, and pneumatic components

• Perform machine alignment, leveling, and adjustment

• Support electrical and controls teams during system integration

• Troubleshoot mechanical issues during build and testing

• Participate in FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing)

• Assist with machine installation and commissioning at customer sites

• Maintain clean and organized work area

• Follow all safety procedures and quality standards

• Occasional travel (0–20%) for machine installation and customer support.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in machine assembly, mechanical assembly, or industrial equipment build

• Ability to read mechanical drawings and BOMs

• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring tools

• Understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automation equipment or robotics

• Basic electrical knowledge (sensors, motors, cable routing)

• Experience with alignment tools and torque specs

• Forklift or overhead crane experience
