Maintenance Technician – Night Shift, $32/hr

Location: Downingtown, PA 19335

Pay: $25.00-$39.00/hr (based on experience)

Shift: Nights – 10:00 PM-6:00 AM (possible 6:00 PM-6:00 AM schedule)

We are looking for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Mechanic / Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining production equipment, plant utilities, and automated manufacturing systems to maximize uptime and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery, production equipment, and manufacturing systems

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electromechanical equipment

• Perform preventive maintenance (PM), predictive maintenance, and emergency repairs

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and mechanical drawings

• Wire and troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLCs (SLC500, MicroLogix, CompactLogix)

• Make minor PLC programming changes and perform controls troubleshooting

• Install, adjust, and replace 3-phase 480V motors, motor controls, VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), sensors, relays, and control panels

• Troubleshoot conveyors, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, bearings, valves, and packaging equipment

• Perform pipefitting on hot water, cold water, steam, condensate, and process piping systems

• Weld steel and stainless components and machine replacement parts using common shop equipment

• Complete equipment changeovers and troubleshoot liquid filter packaging machinery to minimize downtime

• Perform root cause analysis and execute repairs independently while supporting continuous production

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, Electro-Mechanical Technician, Multi-Craft Technician, or Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

• Experience maintaining production equipment, automated machinery, or packaging equipment

• Working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs, VFD programming, motor controls, sensors, contactors, and industrial electrical systems

• Experience with preventive maintenance programs (PMs), CMMS systems, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis

• Skilled in welding, machining, fabrication, and the use of precision measuring tools

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work safely in an industrial manufacturing environment

• Must be able to commute to Downingtown, PA
