Part-Time Janitor

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Janitor for a manufacturing plant located in Shelby Township, MI. In this role, you will be responsible for keeping the production areas and common spaces clean and orderly, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment for everyone.

Job Highlights

• Schedule: Part-time, 20 hours per week. Must be able to train on 1st shift for a week, 7am-3:30pm

• Environment: Production facility and common office/break areas.

• Support: Work as part of a team with training provided for specialized equipment.

Qualifications

• Team Player: Must have the ability to work effectively with other employees.

• Reliable: Must have a good attendance record, be dependable, and arrive on time.

• Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds comfortably.

• Technical: Ability to operate a floor scrubber

Responsibilities

• Facility Care: Maintain a clean facility by completing a variety of daily cleaning tasks.

• Waste Management: Empty all garbage cans throughout the buildings.

• Inventory & Supplies: Monitor garbage cans and restock essential supplies (paper towels, soap, etc.) in assigned areas.

• Sanitization: Thoroughly sanitize and restock restrooms and break rooms to maintain health and safety standards.
