Entech Staffing Solutions is seeking a Project Manager for a growing manufacturing company specializing in advanced botanical extraction equipment in Rochester Hills, MI. We are looking for candidates who are available to start work ASAP.

 

Position Summary:

This role owns projects from kickoff to shipment/installation. You will be responsible for schedules, materials, vendors, internal coordination, and customer communication. If you’ve run equipment builds in a real manufacturing environment and know how to push work through a shop floor, this role is for you. This is not a paperwork-only PM role. You will be in the plant, on the phone with vendors, and directly responsible for hitting delivery targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own multiple manufacturing and equipment build projects simultaneously 

  • Drive project schedules and enforce deadlines 

  • Coordinate engineering, purchasing, and production resources 

  • Track parts, materials, and fabrication progress daily 

  • Manage vendors, lead times, and subcontractors 

  • Run project kickoff meetings and weekly execution reviews 

  • Identify production bottlenecks and remove obstacles 

  • Control scope, cost, and schedule changes 

  • Maintain accurate project cost and margin tracking 

  • Communicate directly with customers on milestones and delivery 

  • Support equipment testing, delivery, and installation as required 

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years managing manufacturing or industrial equipment projects 

  • Proven ability to run projects inside a production environment 

  • Strong understanding of fabrication, machining, or equipment assembly 

  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, and suppliers 

  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and technical specifications 

  • High accountability and follow-through 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 

  • Comfortable holding teams and vendors accountable 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with capital equipment, automation, or industrial machinery 

  • ERP/MRP system experience 

  • Mechanical or technical background 

  • PMP or equivalent (not required if you can execute) 

Work Environment:

  • On-site manufacturing environment 

  • High-speed, deadline-driven operation 

  • Direct involvement with shop floor and production teams
