Job Overview
The Quality Assurance Technician performs quality control testing, inspections, and documentation to ensure beverage products meet all food safety, regulatory, and internal quality standards. This role works closely with production teams and operates under Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP systems.
Key Responsibilities

Perform quality inspections and testing on raw materials, in-process production, and finished products

Test and verify beverage formulas to ensure recipe and specification compliance

Monitor, document, and program Critical Control Points (CCPs)

Conduct sanitation verification and allergen testing
-
Collect product samples for Product Development, lab retains, and laboratory testing
-
Inspect products, equipment, and machinery for quality compliance
-
Maintain calibration of quality control and laboratory equipment
-
Accurately complete and file QA logs, inspection records, and reports
-
Analyze quality data and report deviations to Line Leaders and QA Manager
-
Support SQF, HACCP, GMP, customer, and regulatory audits

Train new and existing employees on GMPs, food safety, sanitation, and product integrity

Ensure sanitation and food safety standards are consistently met across the facility

Perform visual, organoleptic, and chemical quality inspections

Assist with internal quality audits as directed by the QA Manager
Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED
-
Previous experience in manufacturing, food, or beverage production
-
Working knowledge of HACCP, SQF, GMP, and food safety programs
-
Ability to use computers, tablets, and mobile devices
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Ability to work in varying temperatures

Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, push, pull, and twist for extended periods

Willingness to work any shift, including nights and weekends
