Pay Rate: $50,000.00-$53,000.00
Description:
The Supply Chain Manager will be a critical member of our Supply Chain Management team, responsible for managing the intricate flow of materials and logistics operations. This role requires a strong understanding of logistics systems, inventory management, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting automotive clients, specifically GM and the Big 3.
Primary Functions:

Material Flow and Inventory Management: Oversee the entire material flow process, from initial order to final delivery. This includes monitoring inventory levels, managing purchase orders, tracking shipments, and resolving any discrepancies.

Material Engineering Control: Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accurate material specifications and timely resolution of engineering issues.

Shipment Preparation and Delivery: Prepare and execute domestic and international shipments, including generating shipping documents, labeling, and coordinating with carriers.

Logistics: Manage logistics operations, including scheduling pickups and deliveries, monitoring carrier performance, and resolving transportation issues.

Customer Service and Support: Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and coordinating with customers to meet their needs.

Additional Responsibilities: Assist with various tasks, such as warehouse operations and accounting support.

Qualifications:

Strong understanding of supply chain principles and logistics operations

Experience with inventory management systems and ERP software

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Experience in the automotive industry, particularly with GM and the Big 3, is preferred
