Are you a hands-on individual with a knack for precision? Entech Staffing is looking for a dedicated Coil Winder to join a manufacturing team in Troy, MI. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating essential components for transformers, working with a variety of materials and machinery.

What You’ll Do:

• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to determine the necessary materials and processes.

• Operate a coil-winding machine to wind wire, copper foil, and sheet coils.

• Use overhead cranes to safely move finished components.

• Utilize a range of tools, including hand tools, power tools, shears, saws, brakes, and punches.

• Work with precision and understand winding diagrams and specifications.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• At least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance.

• Strong reading, writing, and comprehension skills to follow plant directives.

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with brake press or punch press is a plus.

• Forklift operation certification is preferred.

• Blueprint and measurement interpretation skills are highly desirable.

Job Details:

• Shift: 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM (or 4:30 AM to 3:00 PM with overtime).

• Pay rate: $19.50 -21.00/hr.

• Physical Requirements: This role requires frequent standing, bending, and reaching. You must also be able to read and understand tape measure markings down to 1/16th of an inch and stand for long periods.

• Safety: You must adhere to all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to perform the job safely, including eye, hand, foot, and hearing protection.
