Job Title: Industrial Equipment Assembler / Field Service Technician
Location: Rochester, MI
Pay: $25.00–$30.00/hour
Schedule: Full-time | 8–10 hour shifts
Travel: Up to 25% for on-site installations and service

Description:

Entech Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Industrial Equipment Assembler with hands-on experience building, installing, and servicing large-scale capital equipment. This is not an electronics or small-parts assembly position. We need mechanically savvy individuals who can read blueprints, work with heavy-duty mechanical systems, and take ownership of machines from initial build through customer delivery and support.

You will assemble industrial machinery in our Rochester facility and travel to customer sites to perform installation, mechanical diagnostics, maintenance, and rebuilds.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble large mechanical systems and complex capital equipment from blueprints and CAD drawings

• Work with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical components

• Collaborate with engineering on mechanical integration and improvements

• Perform field service: install, troubleshoot, and rebuild machinery at customer facilities

• Conduct mechanical testing and assist in system validation

• Prepare equipment for shipment and coordinate site logistics with internal teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience building or maintaining industrial machinery, process equipment, or capital equipment

• Proven ability to troubleshoot, repair, and assemble heavy mechanical systems

• Skilled with hand tools, torque wrenches, pneumatic systems, and precision measuring instruments

• Able to interpret mechanical blueprints, BOMs, and engineering documentation

• Field service, machine building, or mechanical maintenance experience strongly preferred

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Willingness to travel up to 25% for equipment installs and support
