Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Engineer/Technician with a strong passion for ensuring the highest quality in metal parts manufacturing. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough quality control inspections on metal parts utilizing a variety of precision measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, CMM (preferred), and various gauges, to meticulously verify product conformity.

Lead root cause analysis investigations and implement effective corrective and preventive actions to address and resolve quality discrepancies.

Develop, document, and implement clear and comprehensive quality control procedures and work instructions.

Collaborate closely with production and engineering teams to proactively address quality issues and drive continuous improvement in overall product quality.

Perform regular and systematic audits of production processes to pinpoint areas for enhancement and optimization.

Develop and maintain key quality metrics and generate insightful reports to track performance, identify emerging trends, and drive data-driven decisions.

Ensure strict adherence and compliance with all relevant industry quality standards and regulations.

Conduct engaging and informative training sessions for production personnel on essential quality control procedures and techniques.

Perform meticulous gage calibration, maintain accurate calibration records, and ensure the upkeep of our Quality lab.
Requirements:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a closely related technical field.

A minimum of 3 years of a Quality Engineer or Technician within a metal parts manufacturing environment.

Comprehensive knowledge of essential quality control tools and techniques, including Statistical Process Control (SPC), Six Sigma methodologies, and lean manufacturing principles.

Demonstrated proficiency in the use of various precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

Working knowledge of CMM operation and programming is a significant plus but not strictly mandatory.

Strong problem-solving skills with a proven ability to analyze data effectively and make sound, data-driven decisions.

Excellent communication skills, fostering effective collaboration and teamwork within a multidisciplinary environment.

Experience with IATF 16949 and other relevant quality standards and regulations is highly desirable.
