Administrative Construction Timekeeper (Temporary)
Compensation: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
Location: Marshall, MI
Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday. Standard shift is 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 4:00 PM, depending on the required work cycle (8 or 10-day schedules).
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Timekeeper to join our team on a temporary basis for 3–4 months, with a strong possibility of extension. This role is essential for ensuring accurate timekeeping, maintaining employee documentation, and facilitating communication between the office and field crews.
Key Responsibilities

Will be managing critical daily operational tasks, focusing primarily on accurate data and document handling:

Time Entry: Accurately input employee time and hours into the timesheet management program.

Discrepancy Checking: Actively check for and identify discrepancies or errors in submitted time records.

Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve time errors, including making necessary manual system changes or adjustments to ensure accurate payroll preparation. This requires strong math skills and analytical ability.

File Management: Organize and maintain documentation and required paperwork for employee files.

Logistics & Communication: Collect, prepare, and distribute essential paperwork and materials to employees working in the field.

General Support: Perform other clerical and administrative duties as assigned to support daily operations.
Required Qualifications

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of professional administrative experience is required.

Software Proficiency: Proven competency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Attention to Detail: Exceptional focus on detail and accuracy, especially when handling numerical data and time calculations.

Teamwork & Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively as a team member, applying troubleshooting skills to daily challenges.

Legal Requirement: U.S. citizenship is required.
Additional Requirements (Mandatory)
Successful candidates must pass the following checks prior to hiring:

Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Check: Candidates must have a clean driving record with no more than three (3) violations.

Drug Test (DT): Pre-employment drug screening is required.

Driving: The position may require driving a company vehicle.
