Job Type: Part-Time, Contract, approximately 30 hours/week

Entech Staffing is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Teacher to join the Early Childhood Learning Center at a respected educational institution in Flint, MI.

🧸 About the Role

As a Classroom Assistant, you’ll support the Lead Teacher in implementing engaging and developmentally appropriate programs for children. You’ll help maintain a safe, respectful, and fun learning environment aligned with the school’s educational philosophy.

✨ Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and implementing classroom activities

  • Set up and maintain learning centers and classroom materials

  • Supervise children when the Lead is out of the room

  • Support the creation of monthly newsletters and display boards

  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development

  • Promote a nurturing environment where every child feels respected

  • Share in classroom upkeep and daily routines

  • Attend public relations events and represent the center positively

  • Perform other duties as assigned

✅ What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • 12 college credits in Child Development and/or Early Childhood Education

  • Must meet Department of Social Services Center Licensing Standards for health and staffing

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently

Preferred:

  • 1+ year experience in a licensed childcare facility

  • Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
