Job Title: Automotive Technician (Entry – Mid Level)

Location: Swartz Creek, MI
Pay: $20.00 – $23.00/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift

Entech Staffing is looking for a reliable Automotive Technician to join a locally owned family-run auto repair shop in Swartz Creek. This is a great opportunity for someone with basic to intermediate mechanical experience who enjoys working in a smaller shop environment where quality work and teamwork matter.

We’re looking for someone who can handle general maintenance and light repair work, with the opportunity to continue learning and growing their skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and general vehicle maintenance

• Diagnose and complete basic brake repairs (pads, rotors, calipers)

• Assist with front-end work such as suspension components and steering parts

• Inspect vehicles and identify potential maintenance or safety concerns

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Communicate repair findings clearly with the shop team

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of automotive technician or mechanic experience preferred

• Experience performing oil changes, brakes, and basic repairs

• Ability to work efficiently in a small shop environment

• Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills

• Own basic mechanic tools preferred

• ASE certifications are a plus but not required

• Valid driver’s license
