Guest Services/Gatehouse Attendant

Location: Farmington Hills, MI (Grand River & Drake Rd)
Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Position Summary:

We are seeking a polished, personable, and highly professional Guest Services/Gatehouse Attendant to be the welcoming face of apartments – a luxury residential community in Farmington Hills. As the first point of contact for residents and visitors, your friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and ability to provide excellent customer service will set the tone for the entire property.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet all residents and visitors with a professional and welcoming attitude

  • Check IDs for all visitors — no exceptions — to maintain property security

  • Engage with guests to determine the reason for their visit and direct them accordingly

  • Provide leasing information, tour packets, and other materials when appropriate

  • Collaborate with the Leasing Agent to ensure seamless visitor experiences

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area

  • Serve as a positive representative of the community, leaving a lasting impression on residents and guests

  • Uphold property rules and policies at all times, including preventing unauthorized access

  • Remain alert and attentive throughout the shift — sleeping on duty is strictly prohibited

Requirements:

  • Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent customer service skills

  • Polished, professional appearance

  • Previous front desk, concierge, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred

  • Must pass a drug test and background check

  • Must meet in person for an interview

  • Ability to handle feedback from residents and management

  • Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
