What You’ll Do

As a critical part of our material handling team, you will keep our assembly lines stocked and production running smoothly:

  • Forklift Operation: Safely operate propane-powered Hi-Los equipped with long forks.

  • Material Movement: Transport large pallets of cardboard, corrugated materials, and packaging supplies across the facility.

  • Production Support: Stage materials and deliver supplies directly to assemblers to prevent delays.

  • Loading & Stacking: Unload shipments, organize staging areas, and safely stack inventory.

  • Quality & Safety Inspection: Inspect materials and pallets for damage prior to movement; strictly follow safety rules and maintain clean, navigable aisles.

  • General Warehouse Duties: Assist with cross-functional warehouse and material handling tasks as needed.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: Proven experience operating a Hi-Lo, forklift, or working as a Material Handler in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.

  • Forklift Mastery: Hands-on experience with propane Hi-Los (experience using long forks is a major plus).

  • Workplace Agility: Comfortable maneuvering large pallets around production machinery and fellow team members.

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, stretch, and lift throughout your shift.

  • Reliability: Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, high safety awareness, and keen attention to detail.

Job Details & Shift Info

  • Pay: $17.50 – $18.50 per hour

  • Shifts Available:

    • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

    • 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

    • Note: Must be open to possible 10 to 12-hour shifts during high production periods.

  • Location: Chesterfield, MI (Easy commute for candidates in Chesterfield, Macomb, New Baltimore, and surrounding areas)
