Entech Staffing is looking for a Purchasing Specialist to join our client’s Purchasing Department in the Finance & Accounting Division. Schedule: Work Tuesday through Friday with Fridays ending early at 3 PM! (30 hours per week)

Purposeful Work: Your role will directly support the Purchasing Department by keeping vendor records up-to-date, managing purchase orders, and assisting with special projects.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Transform approved requisitions into purchase orders while ensuring compliance with policies.

Keep our Purchasing Department records organized and accurate.

Maintain and update our vendor database, including tax information.

Collaborate with Accounts Payable to resolve billing issues and maintain strong supplier relationships.

Act as the go-to person between vendors and end users to ensure smooth and timely delivery of products and services.

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum Requirements:

  • An associate’s degree.

  • A passion for providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to different situations.

  • Proficiency in MS Word (intermediate level) and MS Excel (basic level), plus experience with purchasing software.

  • A proven track record of being organized, prioritizing tasks, and working well in a team.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required, But a Plus!):

  • Two years of experience in purchasing, especially in public procurement.

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.

  • Familiarity with the Datatel Administrative System.

  • Experience in contract management.
