Are you a precision-driven painter who takes pride in a flawless finish? We are looking for a skilled Spray Painter to join our team in Sterling Heights. While our primary focus is applying high-quality protective bed liners, we are specifically looking for a professional who brings HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) expertise to the table to ensure top-tier efficiency and finish quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Surface Prep: Perform thorough preparation of truck beds, including cleaning, sanding, degreasing, and intricate masking to protect non-painted surfaces.

• Precision Application: Mix and apply specialized bed liner coatings and protective finishes.

• HVLP Mastery: Utilize HVLP spray systems to achieve consistent coverage, minimize overspray, and maintain a high standard of finish quality.

• Equipment Care: Calibrate, clean, and maintain spray guns and booth equipment to ensure peak performance.

• Safety & Organization: Maintain a pristine workspace and strictly adhere to PPE and ventilation safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience: Proven track record in automotive or industrial spray painting.

• Technical Skill: Specialized experience with HVLP painting systems and various spray techniques.

• Detail Oriented: A “keen eye”for texture consistency and the ability to spot imperfections before the product leaves the booth.

• Physical Stamina: Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting materials and maneuvering around vehicle beds.

• Reliability: Strong work ethic with the ability to follow technical mixing ratios and application instructions precisely.

Logistics & Compensation

• Pay Rate: $16.00 / hour

• Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Location: Sterling Heights (19 Mile & Mound area)
