Accounting & Finance Manager

What You’ll Do
In this role, you will be a hands-on leader, managing all core accounting functions while also acting as a strategic partner to our leadership team. Your responsibilities will include:

Financial Operations: Performing and overseeing all accounting, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and payroll functions.

Reporting & Analysis: Delivering accurate monthly financial statements, leading the month-end close process, and analyzing results to help tell the story behind our numbers. You will also assist with preparing monthly reports for the Board.

Cash Flow Management: Proactively managing company cash flow through rolling forecasts and daily oversight.

Strategic Initiatives: Partnering with senior leadership on budget and forecast models, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and assisting with the development of pricing strategies.

Audit & Compliance: Leading all year-end audit preparations and execution, as well as managing financial compliance reporting.

Systems & Processes: Assisting with the implementation of new raw materials and inventory management systems.

Payroll & HR: Managing bi-weekly payroll, time-reporting, and key HR processes like onboarding and offboarding.
What We’re Looking For

Education: A Bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree or certification like a CPA or CMA is strongly preferred.

Experience: 6+ years of experience in accounting or finance. Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus, and a background at an audit firm is strongly preferred.

Skills: You have advanced Excel skills and are proficient with QuickBooks Online. You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and excellent at managing competing priorities.

Mindset: You are a continual learner who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You are an independent problem-solver who can communicate financial data clearly and confidently.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $90,000 – $100,000 base salary, commensurate with experience.

Bonus: You will have additional long-term incentive opportunities as the company grows.

Work Environment

Type: Full-time, salaried position. Overtime may be expected as needed.

Location: This role is based in Dearborn, MI. We prefer an on-site presence but are open to a limited hybrid schedule.

Travel: Occasional travel to our locations in Downingtown, PA, and Medley, FL may be required.
