Location: Southeast Michigan (Various project sites) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (40 hours/week, with potential for overtime)

About the Role

Are you an active, community-focused professional who prefers working out in the field rather than sitting behind a desk?

We are seeking a dedicated Restoration Coordinator to play a vital role in our local infrastructure projects. In this position, you will be the eyes and ears on the ground following underground gas line replacement projects. You will travel to various residential neighborhoods throughout Southeast Michigan, identifying property restoration needs, documenting them on-site, and ensuring local residents are taken care of.

If you have excellent communication skills, love staying active, and enjoy acting as the bridge between project teams and the community, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Site Assessment: Walk residential project sites to identify and record all property restoration requirements following construction work.

  • Digital Documentation: Accurately log restoration needs and upload data on-site using a company-provided iPad.

  • Community Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact between local customers, restoration vendors, and the restoration process.

  • Project Coordination: Communicate daily with field crews, contractors, and municipal inspectors (City, County, MDOT) to keep projects moving smoothly.

  • Consistent Oversight: Stay with assigned neighborhood construction projects from start to finish, reporting directly to the Operations Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Physical Stamina: Must be comfortable being on your feet for up to 90% of the day, as this role involves extensive walking through residential neighborhoods.

  • Reliable Transportation: Must have your own personal vehicle to travel between project sites. (Note: Mileage will be reimbursed in accordance with our Company Travel/Expense policy). Must have current car insurance and valid driver’s license.

  • Tech-Savvy: Basic experience using an iPad and navigating the internet is required.

  • Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Email, Word, Excel).

  • Excellent Communicator: Strong interpersonal skills are essential for interacting with customers, field crews, and local inspectors.

  • Analytical: Basic math skills are required for accurate project recording.
