Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Associate / Shipping & Receiving Helper to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining the flow of goods in and out of our facility while ensuring inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in warehouse operations who is looking to expand their skill set into facility maintenance and mechanical support.

Primary Responsibilities

• Shipping & Receiving: Accurately process incoming shipments, verify packing slips against physical inventory, and prepare outgoing orders for distribution.

• Inventory Management: Lead and assist with regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits to maintain high levels of stock accuracy.

• Equipment Operation: Safely operate a forklift (sit-down or stand-up) to move materials, load/unload trucks, and organize high-bay racking.

• Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and stage materials according to work orders with a high level of attention to detail.

• Maintenance Support: Assist with general building maintenance tasks. For candidates with mechanical aptitude, there is an opportunity to be trained on basic machinery repairs and facility upkeep.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 2–3 years of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.

• Forklift Proficiency: Previous experience operating a forklift is required; certification is a plus (re-certification provided on-site).

• Technical Aptitude: Strong mechanical “handyman”skills are highly preferred for those interested in the maintenance training aspect of the role.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently and remain on your feet for the duration of the shift.

• Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and consistent attendance.
