Industrial Maintenance Technician – Join a Global Leader in Metal Processing!

Are you a high-level troubleshooter with a deep understanding of electrical and mechanical systems? Our client in Detroit is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our growing team.

In this role, you aren’t just “fixing machines”—you are the backbone of our production. You will manage both preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on complex thermal and electroplating equipment to ensure our facility operates at peak performance.

Compensation & Benefits:

What You’ll Do

  • Troubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose complex electrical control circuits, hydraulic systems, and mechanical components.

  • Maintain Excellence: Perform critical preventive maintenance on specialized thermal and electroplating machinery.

  • Read & Execute: Interpret electrical schematics and instructional manuals to dismantle and reassemble equipment with precision.

  • Technical Versatility: Utilize fabrication, welding, and basic plumbing/refrigeration skills to keep the facility running smoothly.


What You Bring to the Team

  • Experience: At least 5 years as a Maintenance Mechanic or in a similar industrial role.

  • Technical Mastery: Proficiency in PLC programming and High Volt/Low Volt electrical systems.

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long hours, kneel, and lift heavy loads in a fast-paced shop environment.

  • Bonus Points: Thermal treatment experience, electroplating knowledge, or a Boiler Operator License is a major plus!


Schedule & Location

  • Shifts Available: Afternoon and Night shifts (rotating schedule) 9 hours Monday through Friday with a 30 minute unpaid lunch. 2nd shift is 2pm to 11pm and 3rd shift is 9pm to 6am.

  • Location: In-person at our facility.

  • Requirement: Must be able to pass a physical, background check, and drug screen.
