Entech Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Stock Room Associate for a growing manufacturing company specializing in advanced botanical extraction equipment in Rochester Hills, MI. We are looking for candidates who are available to start work ASAP. Pay Rate: $18.00-$25.00/hr based on experience.

Job summary:

A detail-oriented and organized Manufacturing Stockroom Associate is needed to manage inventory and ensure smooth material flow, supporting the production process. This role involves receiving, storing, and distributing materials, maintaining records, and collaborating with production to ensure timely access to components. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong organizational and communication skills, and is committed to maintaining a clean and safe workspace.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Receive and inspect incoming raw materials and components, verifying accuracy against purchase orders and identifying discrepancies or damages.

  • Organize and store inventory in designated stockroom locations, ensuring proper labeling and adherence to storage procedures.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records through timely data entry into ERP or inventory management systems.

  • Pull and issue materials to production lines and work orders as needed, ensuring correct components are provided for assembly and manufacturing.

  • Conduct routine cycle counts and participate in inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels and identify discrepancies.

  • Assist with the preparation and packaging of finished goods for distribution or shipment.

  • Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the stockroom and work areas, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.

  • Communicate effectively with production supervisors, procurement teams, and other departments regarding material availability, shortages, and other inventory-related concerns.

  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently (if applicable and certified).

Requirements and qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing stockroom, warehouse, or similar environment is preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are needed.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed.

  • Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking are needed.

  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks associated with the role, including standing and walking for extended periods, is needed.

  • Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to follow them diligently are required.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory control techniques is a plus.

  • Forklift certification is a plus.
