Job Position: Material Handler

Location: Flint, MI 48503

Pay Rate: $20.00/hr

Shift: 1st shift 7AM-3:30PM Monday-Friday & Saturdays as needed, Contract > Direct

 

Entech Staffing is seeking an Experienced Material Handler for a Truck Equipment Company located in Flint, MI. This person is responsible for material movement for the facility. Typical job duties may include driving a forklift and four-way lift truck, loading/unloading trucks, delivering parts and/or products to production and other areas, and being able to multi-task and prioritizing job duties while maintaining a clean, safe and orderly work area. 

 

  • Must be able to obtain a forklift and/or 4-way license.

  • Trash Removal when necessary.

  • Safe operation of all machinery.

  • Able to maintain a neat, clean and organized work area.

  • Check in parts and kitting orders.

  • Work safely in a production environment wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required.

  • Regular and predictable attendance.

  • Ability to read and interpret BOM and orders.

  • Ability to handle stress and interact with others.

  • Supply parts to line as necessary.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Positive attitude and willing to learn.

  • Load/unload carriers.

  • Moving loose bodies around the facility.

  • Previous experience in the truck equipment industry or similar industry preferred.

  • Ability to operate equipment like Forklifts and 4-way forklift safely.

  • Physical demands include: normal standing, walking, bending, and twisting as necessary to perform job duties.

  • Exposed to normal seasonal temperatures.

  • Lifting/moving up to 75 pounds.

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Forklift Operators Certification.
