Entech is currently hiring a detail-oriented, self-motivated Material Handler for a top client in Pontiac, MI. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining production workflow by suppling small components to production lines and managing inventory accuracy using ERP and MES systems.

Shift: Day Shift (A1) | Monday – Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (30-minute lunch; Off Fri–Sun)

Key Responsibilities

  • Supply small components to production lines using ERP and MES software.

  • Identify active part numbers per line and coordinate changeovers with line leads.

  • Verify, maintain, and stage kitting area materials to ensure continuous production.

  • Keep ring poles filled at the ring pole station and ensure materials are properly shelved.

  • Process material returns during changeovers, update ERP lot quantities, and perform lot combinations as needed.

  • Coordinate with the HiLo team for warehouse returns and resolve line-level software errors.

  • Fabricate boot protectors or cut shipping caps as required.

  • Complete daily kitting area check sheets and maintain a clean, safe workspace (removing boxes, trash, and pallets).

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and solid prioritization abilities.

  • Physical Demands: Frequent sitting, bending, reaching, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

  • Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
