Talent Management Specialist I

Entech Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Talent Management Specialist I to join an HR team. This is an entry-to-intermediate level role designed for a professional looking to build a career in Human Resources by supporting the foundational pillars of the employee lifecycle.

Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Director of Talent Management, you will ensure the talent operations—from recruitment to retirement—run smoothly, efficiently, and with a focus on a high-quality candidate and employee experience.


Position Summary

The Talent Management Specialist I provides essential administrative and operational support across several key areas: talent acquisition, onboarding, offboarding, job description management, and employee training. You will be the “engine”behind our processes, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and professional communication with all campus stakeholders.

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Exempt status; occasional evening/weekend projects as needed).


Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Support full-cycle recruitment: post jobs, screen applications, and coordinate interview logistics.

  • Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to maintain data accuracy and ensure a seamless candidate journey.

  • Facilitate clear, timely communication with candidates and hiring managers.

Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Coordinate end-to-end onboarding for new hires and transfers, including pre-boarding, orientation scheduling, and document preparation.

  • Manage the offboarding process, including processing system terminations and exit communications.

Credentialing & Development

  • Monitor faculty/staff credentialing and professional development to ensure compliance with HLC-related requirements.

  • Provide logistical support for training sessions, workshops, and compliance events (scheduling, registration, and materials).

Documentation & Administration

  • Maintain a consistent job description library; assist in drafting and updating descriptions to meet organizational standards.

  • Create standardized templates, workflows, and toolkits to improve departmental efficiency.

  • Respond to inquiries from employees and candidates with a high level of customer service.


Qualifications & Competencies

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Associate degree from an accredited institution (or an equivalent mix of education, certification, and administrative experience).

  • Experience: 1–2 years of experience in administrative support, HR support, recruitment coordination, or a related office environment.

  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools.
