Assembly Technician

Entech Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Assembly Technician for an immediate opening at a facility in Troy, MI.

This role involves building and assembling industrial air systems, high-velocity blowers, sound enclosures, and specialized air-drying components in a clean, climate-controlled shop environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Precision Assembly: Build and assemble industrial machinery and small components using hand tools, written instructions, engineering drawings, and prints.

• Machining & Fabrication: Operate shop equipment, including drill presses, band saws, belt sanders, and parts washers.

• Quality & Inspection: Inspect incoming and finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure strict conformance to specifications.

• Material Handling & Logistics: Receive, count, store, pull, and package finished products for shipment. Safely move materials using pallet jacks or stackers and load trucks.

• Shop Maintenance: Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient working environment.

Qualifications

• Experience: 7+ years of production experience, including at least 2 years in a specialized manufacturing environment.

• Technical Skills: Proven ability to read engineering part drawings and blueprints. Strong mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, fine motor skills, and hand-eye coordination.

• Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, excellent time management, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Exposure to moving parts, machinery, and elevated noise levels requires PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves).

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
