Concert Setup & Teardown Crew Member

Location: Utica, MI

Pay Rate: $19.00 / hour

Schedule: 2-Day Assignment (9/17 and 9/21) | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking reliable, hardworking individuals for a short-term, 2-day assignment assisting with the physical setup and teardown for an upcoming concert event in Utica, MI.

Key Responsibilities

  • Unload, move, and position staging, lighting, sound gear, and event equipment.

  • Lay a protective decking layer on the field to protect it.

  • Assist with setting up barriers, seating, staging elements, and back-of-house areas.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout the shift.

Requirements & Physical Demands

  • Physical Capability: Must be comfortable repeatedly lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 70 lbs.

  • Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, and walk for the entire 9-hour shift outdoors.

  • Punctuality: Must arrive on time at 7:00 AM both days ready to work.

  • Attire: Work-appropriate clothing required (closed-toe shoes, durable work pants, and t-shirt).

  • Reliable transportation to and from the event site in Utica, MI
