Procurement Manager – Services
Entech Staffing Solutions
Job Title: Strategic Sourcing Manager – Services & Contracts. This is a long term contract.
Are you a procurement professional who excels at the “human”side of supply chain? Do you prefer negotiating complex Statements of Work (SOWs) and Master Service Agreements (MSAs) over managing inventory and widgets?
We are looking for a Services Procurement Specialist to lead core procurement management for our services-based spend. Unlike traditional procurement roles centered on physical goods, this position is 100% service-oriented. You will act as a critical partner to our business units, managing the high-value relationships and complex contracts that keep our operations running.
The Impact You’ll Make
-
Drive Strategic Value: You won’t just look at the bottom line; you’ll manage the Total Cost of Ownership, focusing on labor models, performance metrics, and risk management rather than simple acquisition costs.
-
Master the Contract: You will be the point person for negotiating and drafting SOWs, MSAs, and SLAs, ensuring our service agreements are robust, compliant, and results-driven.
-
Foster Relationships: You’ll represent the company in high-level supplier negotiations and partner closely with internal Business Units, Legal, and Risk Management teams.
-
Champion Diversity & Excellence: Help us achieve critical supplier diversity goals and budget objectives while ensuring on-time delivery from our service providers.
What We Are Looking For
The “Must-Have”: This role is specifically for a services procurement expert. Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience specifically procuring and managing services (e.g., professional services, EPC, managed labor) rather than physical commodities or materials.
Qualifications:
-
Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Economics preferred).
-
The Expertise: Proven ability to manage multi-million-dollar service contracts and independently negotiate complex commercial terms.
-
The Skills: Strong contract-writing ability and an understanding of service-specific risks (liability, performance outcomes, scalability).
-
Technical Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with an ability to analyze value beyond just the price tag.
Preferred Experience
We are especially interested in candidates with experience in:
-
Service-Intensive Environments: Engineering, Construction, Maintenance, or Professional Services.
-
Renewable Energy: Supporting Solar or Renewable Energy services (EPCs, O&M services).
-
Process Improvement: Yellow, Green, or Black Belt certifications.
Why Join Us?
This is an opportunity to move away from the “parts and pieces”of procurement and into a role that values strategic thinking, relationship building, and complex problem-solving. If you thrive in an environment where you are managing outcomes and performance rather than shipping schedules, we want to hear from you.
