Pay Rate: $25.00-$30.00/hr based on experience

Entech Staffing Solutions is seeking a Production Test Technician for a well-known automotive company in Holly, MI.
The Production Test Technician is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting test equipment to ensure seamless production operations. This includes performing preventive maintenance, analyzing boards to identify faults, and repairing equipment as needed. The role requires proficiency in using various electronic tools and software, including schematics, multimeters, oscilloscopes, soldering equipment, Solidworks, PCAD, and office applications like PDFs, Word, and Excel. Strong analytical skills and effective communication are essential for diagnosing issues and collaborating with team members.
Role Expectations:

Analyze boards to identify test equipment or component issues and escalate as necessary.

Assist in the installation and preparation of equipment for production.

Maintain the proper functioning of test equipment on a daily basis.

Promptly troubleshoot and repair test equipment to meet production requirements.

Conduct preventive maintenance tasks on test equipment to ensure optimal uptime.

Assess boards to determine if test equipment or component faults are present and take appropriate action.

Maintain and repair nonfunctioning PC’s as needed.

Maintain documentation for equipment maintenance (PM’s, reactive calls, board analysis).

Collaborate with other groups as needed and independently work on assigned projects.
Qualifications:

Preferred associates or bachelor’s in electronic related field or equivalent job experience

Experience in a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment, with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.

Understanding of schematics, multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, soldering equipment, etc.

IPC certification preferred.

Basic PCB soldering and cable repair

Familiarity with various software and tools, including Test Sight, Repair Station, Zebra printers, Keyence, Cognex, Vector, PDFs.

Proven experience working with cross functional teams to complete daily tasks and projects.

Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other employees.

Knowledge/experience of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)

Computer hardware knowledge/experience (replacing power supply, network card, USB card)

Strong problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot issues that may arise.

Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Willing to train internally and externally to develop skills pertaining to the job

Flexible in schedule. Job can and/or will require significant amount of overtime in addition to working all or part of different shifts dependent upon business need.
