Business Development Coordinator (Hybrid)
Location: Northwest Metro Detroit (Hybrid – Remote & Local Networking) Schedule: Part-Time (20–25 Hours/Week) Compensation: $18–$25/hr + Performance Bonuses
About the Role
Are you a highly organized, proactive professional who loves building relationships and seeing projects through to completion? A growing IT and Cybersecurity firm in Northwest Metro Detroit is seeking a dynamic individual to bridge the gap between business development and operations.
This is a unique hybrid role designed for a “people person”who also excels at structured follow-through. This is not a high-volume call center role or a back-office administrative position—it is a front-facing opportunity to represent a premier technology provider in the local business community.
What You’ll Do
Business Development & Outreach

Conduct personalized outbound outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn.

Execute structured, multi-touch follow-up sequences to keep our firm top-of-mind.

Nurture conversations with prospects and schedule qualified meetings for our leadership team.
Networking & Relationship Building

Attend 1–2 local business events per week (Chambers, BNI, etc.).

Professionally represent the firm and initiate meaningful conversations with business owners.

Log new contacts and ensure all follow-ups occur within 48 hours.
Operations & Coordination

Maintain meticulous CRM records and activity notes.

Manage scheduling, calendars, and meeting preparation for the executive team.

Track outreach metrics and pipeline growth.

Qualifications

Required: 1–5 years of relevant professional experience.

Required: Exceptional communication skills and comfort with proactive outreach.

Required: Local to the Metro Detroit area with a valid driver’s license for event attendance.

Preferred: Background in B2B sales coordination, customer success, or local networking.

Preferred: Familiarity with CRM software.
