CNC Operator / CNC Setup
Entech Staffing Solutions is hiring an Entry-Level CNC Operator / CNC Setup for an automotive metal parts manufacturing facility. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build experience in CNC machining, machine operation, setup, and quality inspection. Training will be provided.
Job Duties

Load and unload metal parts into CNC machines.

Operate CNC equipment and monitor machine cycles.

Learn to make machine offsets and adjustments to maintain part tolerances.

Perform basic CNC machine setup and adjustments.

Inspect finished and in-process parts using calipers, micrometers, dial gauges, bore gauges, and other measuring tools.

Clean machines and remove metal chips.

Monitor coolant levels and maintain proper coolant concentration.

Identify and report mechanical, electrical, or machine problems.

Record machine settings, materials used, parts produced, and inspection results.

Follow standard operating procedures and all safety requirements.

Wear required PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.

Maintain a clean and organized workstation using 5S practices.

Properly store gauges, tools, fixtures, and paperwork.

Move between machines as assigned and consistently handle production parts.

Ability to work in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.
Preferred Experience
-
Previous CNC Operator or CNC Machine Operator experience.

CNC setup experience.
-
Familiarity with FANUC or Siemens CNC controls.

Ability to read and understand blueprints.
-
Experience using precision measuring tools.
-
Saw operation experience.
-
Manufacturing or automotive experience.
-
High school diploma or GED.
Training will be provided for CNC machine operation, offsets, setup, measuring equipment, coolant monitoring, inspection procedures, and reporting.
