About the Role
Looking to jumpstart your career in automotive simulation engineering? Entech Staffing Solutions is seeking an enthusiastic FEA Engineer for a Direct-Hire position with a leading automotive supplier in Shelby Township, MI.
This is an exceptional launchpad role for a recent graduate or early-career engineer passionate about finite element analysis, material mechanics, and hands-on product validation. You will work alongside senior engineers who will train and mentor you on advanced non-linear modeling (rubber/elastomers) and durability analysis—setting you up with high-demand skills early in your career.
What You’ll Learn & Do

Hands-on Simulation: Perform FEA modeling on structural and rubber/elastomer automotive components using industry-standard tools like Abaqus and Hypermesh.

Durability Testing: Learn to run durability and fatigue predictions using FE-Safe.

Product Optimization: Collaborate directly with Product Engineering to analyze stress/strain results and suggest design improvements.

Customer Exposure: Present technical reports and design reviews in customer-facing engineering meetings.
What We’re Looking For

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline (Recent grads & Master’s candidates welcome!).

FEA Fundamentals: Strong foundational understanding of solid mechanics, materials, or fatigue principles through coursework, lab work, or thesis projects.

Software Familiarity: Exposure to FEA software (Abaqus, Hypermesh, ANSYS, Nastran, or SolidWorks Simulation) through academic projects, internships, or research. If you have strong mechanics fundamentals, we will help you build industrial software expertise!

Mindset: Proactive problem solver with clear technical communication skills and an eagerness to learn non-linear FEA.
