Position Overview

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented individual to assist with daily lab operations and water sample preparation. Whether you are seeking your first entry-level position or bring hands-on water testing experience, this role offers room to grow—with the potential to transition into a full-time role as you gain experience.

Compensation Breakdown

  • Entry-Level ($15.00/hr): High school graduates or candidates seeking entry-level lab experience.

  • Mid-Level ($19.00 – $20.00/hr): Candidates with relevant science coursework, lab exposure, or technical training.

  • Skilled ($25.00/hr): Candidates with prior hands-on water testing or analytical lab experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sample Receiving: Log, verify, and document incoming water samples according to established protocol.

  • Sample Preparation: Follow written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), mix reagent powders into bottles, and prepare samples for instrument testing.

  • Equipment Operation: Run basic testing equipment, progressing to more complex analytical tools as training advances.

  • General Lab Maintenance: Keep working areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Instruction & SOP Adherence: Ability to strictly follow written processes and detailed instructions.

  • Independent Worker: Comfortable working autonomously in the lab space while maintaining quality output (onsite support is always nearby and available).

  • Personality & Team Fit: Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and reliability matter most to our team.

  • Experience: Prior laboratory, technical, or water quality experience is a plus, but we are fully willing to train the right entry-level candidate.
