Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire

Pay Rate: $18.00 – $21.00 / hour (Depending on Experience)

Shift: Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts (40 hours/week) Training takes place on the day shift with senior technicians; placement on the open shift occurs after successful training completion.

Entech Staffing is seeking dependable, safety-focused Electroplating Line Operators to join the team of a premier metal finishing and manufacturing facility. In this role, you will operate both automated and manual electroplating equipment to produce high-quality zinc, zinc-nickel, and tin finishes for key automotive, industrial, and commercial customers.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

  • Equipment Operation: Run automated and manual electroplating lines according to process specifications.

  • Material Handling: Load and unload parts into barrels, racks, or baskets; safely lift up to 40 lbs.

  • Quality Assurance: Verify work orders and customer specs; perform routine visual checks on coating appearance and thickness.

  • Process Monitoring: Monitor equipment, rectifiers, pumps, heaters, and process tanks during operation; assist lab staff with chemical sampling as needed.

  • Documentation: Keep accurate production logs and complete required paperwork.

  • Safety & Maintenance: Adhere to all hazardous material handling and safety guidelines; assist with line changeovers, 5S/housekeeping, and preventive maintenance.

What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)

  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse environment is preferred (but not required).

  • Physical & Environmental Comfort: Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and comfort working in an industrial environment involving chemicals, water, heat, and machinery.

  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic math/measurement skills, and the ability to follow written work instructions.

  • Reliability: Dependable attendance and a team-player attitude. Must be open to overtime and weekend work as production needs dictate.

Bonus Points (Preferred, but not required)

  • Experience in electroplating, chemical processing, or metal finishing.

  • Background in automotive manufacturing.

  • Forklift certification.

  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or 5S practices.
