Position Overview

The Marketing Specialist I supports business unit leadership by providing analytical insights, performance reporting, budgeting support, and market research. This position is responsible for evaluating product and business performance, developing reporting tools, supporting strategic initiatives, and assisting with the planning and execution of marketing programs that align with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Programs: Develop and support marketing strategies and programs for products or product lines.

  • Performance Evaluation: Evaluate product and business performance to identify trends and support the development of client goals and business objectives.

  • Market Research: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, emerging trends, and process improvements.

  • Process Enhancement: Provide recommendations for enhancements to product development, operational processes, and business practices.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales and business teams to address product-related concerns and support customer needs.

  • Reporting & Systems: Access customer and business systems to generate reports and analyses for business unit leaders and stakeholders.

  • Project Management: Complete assigned projects and analytical initiatives that support organizational priorities and leadership objectives.

  • Presentations: Prepare clear, accurate, and professional presentations for leadership, business partners, clients, and stakeholders.

  • Metrics Tracking: Track, maintain, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), scorecards, and business metrics.

  • Budget Support: Support budget development, forecasting, financial tracking, and related analytical activities.

  • Data Management: Develop, maintain, and enhance databases, models, dashboards, and reporting tools while ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

  • Insights Generation: Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis, market conditions, and business performance.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Analytics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in business analysis, marketing, operations, finance, or a related field.

  • Knowledge Base: Working knowledge of business analysis, marketing principles, reporting tools, budgeting processes, and performance measurement.

  • Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint. Experience working with databases, reporting tools, and business systems is preferred.

  • Operates under general supervision while following established policies, procedures, and guidelines.

  • Exercises sound judgment while managing assigned responsibilities and projects.

  • Collaborates effectively with leadership, sales teams, business partners, and cross-functional stakeholders in a hybrid work environment.
